This was balm to my soul. I love reading dark romance, but sometimes you just need a story like this. I so related to Laney and her crippling self-esteem. I felt her fear of rejection like it was my own. I cheered when she was brave and sobbed when she retreated into herself. I took a gamble on this book on Stuff Your Kindle day and I’m so grateful I did. Now to go see what Miles gets up to!
