The Turn of the Key
by Ruth Ware
In this book Rowan is writing her lawyer from prison trying to explain how she ended up where she is now. From accepting the job as a Nanny to care for the 4 (annoying, irritating, and bratty) children and moving into the family’s big “smart” home, to suspicious and creepy activity at night (creaking floors, movement in the attic, missing objects) and to top it off - a dead child.
I absolutely loved this book! Some say the ending was a bit rushed but I don’t recall it being that.
