I actually read this book one night while helping my daughter with some homework that was about this book. (Grade 7)
I mostly read it so that I could have a better understanding of the questions and work she was doing.
I enjoyed the book and thought that it was very well written for that age group. It gave her a very real understanding of what slaves went through during that time period and of how the underground railroad worked.
She enjoyed it very much.
