The Boy I Hate
By Taylor Sullivan
4 stars!

I really enjoyed this story! This is the second book that I have read by this author and I think she has such a lovely relaxed writing style. Her characters are always easy to connect with and the stories just seem to flow really well. I am a fan of second chance romance stories and this one was even more enjoyable because of the road trip that the characters went on! The descriptive writing was really good and I could imagine all the different places they went to and stopped along their way. I really liked Samantha after a while I have to admit! She is definitely one of those characters who you grow to like! I think I fell in love with Tristan straight away! I do love an alpha bad boy!! I really enjoyed the relationship between the two of them it was so obvious that they were attracted to each other but for their own reasons were pushing each other away. I liked the mix of past and present telling of the story as I think it deepened my knowledge of the characters and how their relationship came about. There were also some good secondary characters in the story namely Sam’s best friend Renee, who also happens to be Tristan’s sister.
It didn’t take me long to be completely absorbed in this story and I read it in one sitting! I know I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.
