Update: I changed my mind and bumped this up from four stars to five because I love this incarnation of Darcy so much, particularly because some choices made early and the chapter heading commentary about Darcy's failing attempts to be friendly. So good!
I do love a good retelling of P&P and this one hit all the good YA spots. Queer characters, Latina MC, mixed race MC, extremely awkward but adorably so Darcy interpretation, one of the sisters is trans, the Collins character is kind of tolerable, and so much more that is enjoyable and fun but spoilers.
