📌“Just in case it wasn’t clear when I was talking about soulmates, you’re it for me.”

Masterpiece suspense with breathtaking romance. To say I loved this book is a disservice to it. Because love might not be enough to describe it. My love for thriller/spy/immersive suspense met my need for swooning/enemies to lovers/small town/single dad romance. And when I thought I couldn’t be caught by surprise with anything else in this book… L.J. Evans said “hold my typewriter” and left me gasping 😱

The Hartley family won my heart with The Last One You Loved. But if they didn’t already have it, they most definitely would now.

Sometimes we love fierce.
Sometimes we love fiercer.
Sometimes we love forever.
