The Bronzed Beasts by Roshani Chokshi is the final book in the Gilded Wolves Trilogy. I'm so sad this series has to end! I have loved these characters so much. This was a great end to the story.

We pick up with the gang after the events of the last book, this time in Italy. Séverin tries to make up for what he's done, while fundamentally misunderstanding the true purpose of the Golden Lyre. Laila has only days left to live, and has no time for your bullshit. Zofia, Enrique, and Hypnos finally figure it out!

This was a fast paced story where there was never a dull moment. It wasn't all action, but the character moments really draw you in. Chokshi's writing is so beautiful. I love the underlying narrative that not everything is for us have.  Pieces of history belong to their native civilizations, not their colonizers. It was nice to see repatriation at work.

I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't say much else other this series is worth reading. A bunch of bi and mixed rep with a sprinkle of Jewish and autistic rep. Garnish with polycule.
