A story about how a ex convict finds meaning in his life with the help of an old lady with crooked fingers. It's so bitter sweet and the ending makes you feel a little bit of hope even when in my opinion it was overall sad and didn't reach a conclusive ending. However definitely a good read. It was shorter than I expected and I felt like there could have been more but overall recommend picking it up for a short but meaningful read.
