Finlay is book 1 of the Wildedges series. If you read the author’s other supernatural series then some of those characters will pop up in this book. Because of that now I want to read those series to understand them more lol.
I haven’t read a wolf shifter book in a long time and this book did not disappoint. I felt for Finlay when he was in love with his Alphas wife and nothing could come of it. And when she died including the daughter it was heartbreaking. Finlay was so heartbroken for so many years but then he meets Chester and he starts to heal. Chester has a past. He had an abusive ex that he ran away from and because of that it’s difficult for him to open up and trust others. He’s insecure and feels like he’s not enough until Finlay shows him how amazing he is and how to be taken care of. They both help each other heal and see what real love can be like.
Their connection is instant and they can’t keep their hands off from each other. I loved this book and I can’t wait for book 2.
