I really enjoyed reading this book! It was a bit different than I was expecting, but still really good.
The characters were probably my favorite part of the novel. I absolutely loved Kerrigan, Seren, Blaise, and the funny gargoyles. They were interesting and well written characters! The gargoyles (Gar and Anir) and Blaise were hilarious and had some stellar lines. I really hope they’ll appear in later stories.
I also enjoyed the world Kenyon created, though there were some aspects that had me confused (hence the reason for my rating). The aspects that confused me were minor and didn’t detract from the awesomeness of the story.
I will read this again and many other works by Kenyon! She’s becoming one of my favorite authors.
