It's not bad. I really liked the concept and plot, but some of the writing really started to irk me. I can sometimes ignore it when it's few and far between, especially when i am of the frame of mind that it's not a literary classic for me to really analyze, however, when the story starts to tell me, it drags me out of the scene.
Ex instead of the characters figuring out the curse, someone just tells them and thus, tells the reader. We as the readers, already know the curse, but good writing helps the characters explore or find out in such a way that grabs at us, not just say "oh yeah you break the curse, lol" That's it? I feel like this could have gotten a lot better, but overall it wasn't bad. I was able to finish it in a couple hours, and some parts are cute. I wanted so badly to give this at least a 4/5, but the telling and not showing happened too many times.
