Secondborn by Amy A. Bartol
3.0
A good narration on the audible book which helped the story flow. I think that Bartol is onto a great dystopian concept but the characters lack depth. I think that more time could have been taken to get to know characters and their relationships to give the book more substance. Characters seem to give Roselle help who barely know her and then disappear! They could be developed much more.
But...don't let this out you off, the book sets up the next in the series and I'll definitely be buying the next book when it comes out. And fingers crossed for Hawthorne!!
