I’m not going to lie, I was a little on the fence about reading this, but it was one of my book clubs’ picks for this month. It had its moments, I thoroughly loved Bristal, she was easily my favorite character. It had moments where I was gripping the edge of my seat. And other moments when I was a little, bored honestly.  There were a few moments where one particular thing was brought up on serval occasions and I thought a trigger warning would’ve been nice. Especially considering this is supposed to be Y/A. It was a good story and had promise. 3.0 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
