I used to be obsessed with this movie as a kid and thanks to a reading challenge chart, I finally read the book! I thoroughly enjoyed it and think this would be a great book to add into middle school curriculum. Since I grew up on this movie, the book felt like coming home to my childhood. I highly recommend reading this book, especially reading it with your children!
