Infernal Devices by Philip Reeve

3.0

Third book in the Mortal Engines series, Infernal Devices moves the story forward several years. Tom and Hester have a daughter, who longs for adventures like her parents had. The arrival of the Lost Boys at Anchorage gives her the opportunity, but all does not go as planned. Ending up a slave in a floating city, she finds herself in the middle of the war as both sides seek a book that may hold the key to ending the conflict. It was a fast paced, action filled book, but felt slight in terms of plot and believability.
