Every time I read a CC book, the MCs become my new favourite couple. I adored everything about Reid and Avery. Reid is a quiet nerdy cinnamon roll with such a dirty month. Avery is such a independent driven confident woman. When Reid and Avery come together in the bedroom, it's explosive (pun intended 😏).

Reid and Avery first meet at a bar after Avery escapes a bad date. They realize they have a lot in common but before it can go any further, they are pulled away by work. It isn't until a while later when they run into each other at a wedding and decide to explore their connection. Reid and Avery realize they have great chemistry together but due to work, cannot commit to a relationship, so they agree to casual.

However, during a NFL conference, Reid and Avery discover their true identities. They are both social media managers for their rival teams. The woman Reid has been in a social media feud with for years is actually Avery. Reid and Avery are immediately taken aback by this revelation. How can the one person they can't stand also be the same person they connect to?

Wow, did I love this book so much. The fast burn was perfect for this story and the spice was probably some of the best Chelsea has written. I loved the way Reid and Avery's story developed. I liked the rivalry between the two and the way they struggled to stay away from each other. But what I liked most about Reid and Avery is how perfectly matched they were in the bedroom and they way they supported and cared for each other.

And a big shout out to the boys. The banter between Maverick, Dallas and Reid gets better and better with each book. I couldn't stop laughing whenever all 3 were on the page, especially with Maverick's antics.
