More answers were revealed about were The Incorribles might have come from. Seems there may be a connection be Miss Penelope Lumley and The Incorribles. My favorite line/paragraph from the book: "As for Miss Penelope Lumley, she had neither sextant or astrolabe. Her only means of transport was pluck, courage was the fuel that propelled her, and her North Star was determination." I think the author mixes the past with present in the book quite well. She uses metaphors from present day to help a younger audience understand things from a time period they might not be familiar with - horse and buggies, going to the theater to see live plays, getting letters by post (rather than by email), and having a governess instead of a teacher. I enjoyed the 2nd book just as much as the first.
