The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

5.0

This book was amazing. The storyline was enthralling, the characters felt very relatable, and everything about this book was just perfect. At the very worst of Schwab's works, I have really liked it, and at the very best, I have loved it, but this book was just perfect. Everything was exciting and thrilling -- the book really takes time to build the story, but from the very beginning it engages the reader, only growing more and more engaging as the story progresses.
Overall, a 5/5 star review, and definitely one of my top books of the year, if not my favorite so far. It's going to be tough competition to displace this book, though.
