I am so in love with this universe and its characters. I much preferred reading about Tella, and believe she was the ‘better’ sister to embark on this particular story. The pace is perfect for a story with as much mystery and uncertainty about it. The entire plot does take away from the game of Caraval slightly but I’d say it’s worth it. 
I do wish there wasn’t a massive spoiler earlier in the book for a huge plot point, it did make it a bit too predictable and it would’ve been much more enjoyable without it.
