I enjoyed the Book and the combination of romance and murder mystery was interesting. I was quite invested in Riley and Nicks relationship. I think Nicks bad boy personality which the author was trying to portray wasn't great at times and he seemed to change up his personality a few times. I did find that because it was a mixture of 2 genres trying to fit it into one book sometimes got lost in terms of focusing more on their relationship rather than the plot of the murder. All of the characters you met were likeable while the characters you were meant to hate you did dislike.
