The Versions of Us by Laura Barnett

5.0

Loved this book - it was entertaining and at the same time made me think deeply. I liked that none of the three paths chosen by the main characters were "better" than the other. The book made me reflect on how life is both long (with time for plenty of things, even if it doesn't always feel like it) and over far too fast, and that the people in it are what really counts. I also thought the sections were Eva had young children were well-drawn, with a good understanding of how all-consuming raising young children can be.
