I preferred the second half of the book and the stories in the appendixes. The first half really reminded me of the old testament bible in the way that he introduces lineages.
I always love the way Tolkien describes everything. It's so beautiful ❤️ detailed description that is perfect for creating a vivid world in the readers mind, if a little heavy going.
