A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman
4.0

What a great story! At first, Ove reminded me of Mr. Wilson from Denis the Menace but then more of his character was revealed, and although it is never mentioned, he seems to have some form of functional autism with a touch of OCD. He is an old man who thinks very literally. Things are black and white with no grey in between. He likes strict routines and gets very annoyed when they are interrupted. Those, among other things. With that in mind, it really helped me understand his thoughts and quirks during the times that off collar things occurred. I found this to be very heartwarming and just what I needed after reading the very draining series I just finished.

My only qualm was the repetition that happened in the second half of the book.
