Be Still My Heart by Charlie Cochet

4.0

Be Still My Heart the second book in the Four Kings Security Series was an entertaining, enjoyable tale. That had me easily engaged throughout. Thanks not only to the main two characters Red and Laz but all the secondary ones. Who I loved and whose antics and humour kept this story running along. As did the fantastic relationship between Red and Laz. Who it's fair to say both have struggles and issues, including PTSD, and at times Red broke my heart, particularly when he was reliving the time when half his team and best friends died overseas. Still, I must say I did feel this story lacked suspense and I felt the plot about who was trying to kill Laz was somewhat overlooked and a bit of an afterthought. Nevertheless, that didn't stop me loving this story and being thoroughly entertained by it, and I'll certainly be checking out Lucky and Mason's story, as they have some serious chemistry going on. As for Be Still My Heart, I would certainly recommend it to others.
