This is definitely one of the most unique books I've ever read. Although some parts were a little confusing and challenging to wrap my head around, there are certainly some good moments of character development/exploration but also some really weird scenes I was VERY unprepared for. This book does a great job of blending the lines of reality and delusion, so if you're looking for a funky read this is a good book to pick up (though I'm not sure there's anyone in my life I would recommend it to). I did really like the author's writing style, though so I'll probably check out her other book (Convenience Store Woman) that I've heard very good things about!
Graphic: Cannibalism, Child abuse, Pedophilia, Physical abuse, Sexual assault, and Sexual content
Moderate: Abandonment and Emotional abuse
