Souls and Sorrows
by Sav R. Miller
This book made me feel things. Good, bad, sad, happy it made me go over my own trauma and my reactions to said events. Not that I ever offed anyone or suffered how Ariana had. I did however live with the physical and emotional abuse from my mother. What's even more crazy is said mother reached out the day I started Soul's and Sorrows for the first time in 4 years. Not sure what going on in the cosmos but clearly it knew I need this book. This was cathartic and inspiring. I loved the way that Cash adores Ariana and even though he speaks of only wanting to take the power his father could never have. The way he loves her from the word go had my little black heart melting into a puddle. I wish the ending hadn't come so fast. I feel like Ariana deserved a bit more with how uncertain she was feeling. I wanted to see a few more events of Cash showing her how to heal. How she is safe with him and how he isn't there to use his love as way to get something or anything from her. To build her up. All around 5/5
