Cursed Cocktails is a slow, feel-good story with minimal stakes. It was a nice mental reset from the emotional highs and lows of more intense reads. I appreciated the queernornative world as well as the physical and psychological disability rep. I would have liked more romantic tension between the main characters to really sell their chemistry, although I understand that may not have been the vibe the author was going for. 

Thanks so much to the Indie Ink Awards for the chance to check out this book and serve as a judge. I'm leaving this review of my own accord.
