Did not finish book.
This is hitting the DNF shelf. Managed to make it to 10% before realizing that this book was literally just going to be more of the same, without an actual plot and that there are so many better 'journey' style fiction books than this.
The protagonist is not likeable, or if he is supposed to be we haven't found out before their quest begins. The author tries to lead the reader with plot devices as to why you should continue reading but frankly I didn't care because I realized ironically the journey wasn't going to be worth the end result. It's amazing this book is carrying such a large rating with so many reviews.
