⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kingdom of the Wicked was an interesting read with a dark, atmospheric setting that kept me curious enough to keep going. The concept of witches and demons in historical Italy felt fresh, and the world-building was immersive, even if it took a bit to fully take shape.

Emilia was a decent protagonist—her grief and determination felt believable, though some of her choices left me raising an eyebrow. Wrath had the usual mysterious love interest vibe, which worked well enough, though I didn’t find myself entirely swept up in the romance.

The pacing was a little uneven in parts, but the story picked up toward the end, and I’m intrigued enough to continue with the next book. It wasn’t perfect, but it delivered on what it promised: a moody, magical mystery with just enough heat and danger to keep things entertaining.
