A Cowboy Kind of Love by Donna Grant

4.0

There are quite a few romance tropes, and second chances is one of them and is definitely a favorite of mine. Jace Wilder was certain that he and Taryn Hillman would build a future together. Instead, one day she left. Now she is back again and this time she is hiding a secret. Jace has never really gotten over Taryn and when he discovers that she is in danger, he tries to put his feelings aside and is determined to help her, and perhaps find a way to trust her after she broke his heart.

Taryn had little choice but to return to Clearview after experiencing trauma. This brings her back into former love Jace's life. While dealing with issues that are plaguing Taryn, she and Jace soon find that fighting their feelings proves to be an impossible task.. Instead, they deal with the problems at hand, all while rebuilding their relationship.

A Cowboy Kind of Love is a great addition to a series that I have enjoyed since the very first book, The Christmas Cowboy Hero. Donna Grant writes the storeis in this series with great protagonists, drama and suspense, and I definitely enjoyed each book and am eager to see what next she has in store for her readers.

Many thanks to St. Martin's Press and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.
