3 stars after finishing the duology. Not a stand out for me. Initially a cool fresh concept for a story, but somehow it fell flat and I didn’t connect to many of the characters. I felt like things happened in a very staccato format? I found myself wondering when did we get here? When did they decide that? It makes it a quick ready though so I did fly through it.
Perhaps I was distracted while reading. Not a terrible book, but not one that I’ll remember in a month.
