Crusader One by Jeffrey Wilson, Brian Andrews

You can borrow book & audio via KU. Love this series so much I go ahead and buy the Audible as soon as they’re released. It’s actually less expensive to buy the ebook for $5.99 & add the audio for $1.99 and pay less than a credit.

Ray Porter is phenomenal as a narrator and he really elevates this already amazing story to another level. He seamlessly switches between accents, personalized voices, genders, etc. Even women’s voices are done well. With a cast of characters as large as this ~ it’s quite the achievement.

Like the last 2 books, this has its own book story arc ~ but there’s also a story that weaves through all the books. I think you could read/listen individually, but they’re so much better built on the previous ones.

I love all the action, OPs, undercover missions, as well as the fact that all of these people (good guys and bad) have their own unique storylines and struggles. I’m always looking forward to more about all of them. Andrews & Wilson have done such an amazing job of world building that this series could go on for years and I can’t see myself tiring of it.

I think this was originally listed as a trilogy, but the way this ends ~ they’re definitely going to keep going. Can’t wait!
