This is my first book by Stephanie Holmes, but you better believe I will be searching her put to see what else she has written.
This whole book contained not only present day views, but snippets of what led Hazel to Miskatonic Prep. I love getting backstory to a character as it really helps me invest in the character itself. Hazel is fearless, and pushes to find out the answers even if she knows she won't like the answers.
Trey, Ayaz, and Quinn's characters don't overpower Hazel and her story like many bully romances do. They challenge her, and drive her of course. The things they do are horrendous and I hope she continues to push back.
Just be forewarned you may think you know what is going to happen, but you have no idea............
