When in Rome by Sarah Adams

5.0

Fans of small town romance + sunshiny city gal falls for grumpy country guy unite!!!!

Amelia’s journey to care for herself, draw better boundaries, and reconnect with the joy and passion that began her music career was so emotional and touching. Noah, my pancake-making, cell-phone eschewing, total cinnamon roll softie beneath that tough and grumpy exterior was her perfect match.

The community in Rome was honestly the icing on the cake of an already delightful story—their protectiveness of Amelia and their appreciation of who she was as a person not a pop star, their well-meaning meddling in Noah’s life to help him feel safe and free to be brave and let himself fall in love, absolutely warmed my heart and made me hug my e-reader when I got to THE END.

My Audrey Hepburn loving heart is so happy! WHEN IN ROME is a delectable romance, sweet and satisfying as a slice of warm apple pie.
