Tortured myself through Book 1 to get to book 2 cause of those damn codes✋🏾🙄😩‼️
Honestly, the writer could have split this book in half and gave that half to the 1st book cause there were a lot of things happening that were climaxes that didn't quite hit.

the found family aspect saved it, honestly. Dante and morana, having a sibling relationship, warmed my heart. The same goes for Amara and her mom. The way they accepted mara nje♥️🥺
I won't lie. tristan grew on me, him not being like too, Verbal. I didn't mind. The tattoo ring on his finger was sweet🥺🥺🥺♥️♥️

- that plot .twist about morana's real father💀😭unfortunately it didn't land like a punch that it should have😩, I don't know if it's the writing style of the author or what, rise the dramatic plot twists were n't dramatic as they Should .
