Rogue One: A Star Wars Story by Alexander Freed
3.0

I have somewhat mixed feelings about this. I've always been partial to books over movies as you get so much more of an insight into a character's thoughts - something that is so difficult to portray in a film. As much was true for this book - I felt like I understood more about the thoughts and emotions of each individual character than I did in the movie (particularly with Jyn, Bodhi and Baze Malbus). The writing was fairly average, which was the biggest disappointment for me. However, it was good (and heartbreaking) to re-live the story all over again, so on the whole, it was an enjoyable read.
