This was a cute , fast , Christmas book . 3.5-3.8⭐️
It is an insta love story ( which isn’t my fav at all ) but still made a cute story .
Carina lives with her grandfather and has suffered an extremely traumatic experience as a child which left her choosing to be a selective mute . The rep for ASL and the def / mute community was done well .
Myles is a construction worker who has a company with his brother and they are assigned to do work for Carina and her grandfather at their house .
They own an Açaí bakery place and had cute friends / workers who were good side characters.
The grandfather was an ass and could have played his story more but he semi came around , meh .
It was sweet and even when an incident happened it was resolved fully and cutely .
The spicy scenes were done well and I’d recommend for insta love lovers :) SANA KHATRI is so sweet and I love her writing and other books .
It was cute but not my usual reading style preference.
