Don't Fear the Reaper by Stephen Graham Jones

3.0

The sequel brings in more points of view and a faster start into the mayhem, and switches Jade’s place from the first book. She is different when she comes back, more hesitant and wanting to distance herself from slashers. She does not have much time to attempt to move on, since she is quickly forced to become involved in the mayhem. Her relationships are emphasized, as are the changes that the supporting characters have gone through in her absence. Their studying of horror would make Jade less isolated, if she accepted that it was not all behind her just yet. While there is more action throughout the book (as opposed to concentrating towards the end), my favorite aspects were still Jade herself and her connections to others.
