"We live and we breathe. We die, and we still feel like breathing. It’s not always the big deaths either. There are little deaths, because that’s what grief is."
What a remarkable, reflective, unforgettable, hilarious and emotional read. That being said, I didn't really love the resolution with the manager. But this was such enchanting read. Here are a few of my other favorite quotes from the book.
"It’s never enough, is it? Time. We always think we have so much of it, but when it really counts, we don’t have enough at all."
"From the moment your born, you're dying."
"The first time you share tea, you are a stranger. The second time you share tea, you are an honored guest. The third time you share tea, you become family."
Such a beautiful and memorable book, full of life and introspection!
