Given how short this book is, I'm tempted to push through and mark off another country on my read around the world challenge, but that'd be the only reason. Absolutely nothing's happening in the story - it feels pointless and meandering, the writing is sexist AF, the setup is weird (why did no one stop the murder if everyone knew about it) and the reviews tell me most of my questions won't be answered.
