White Horse by Erika T. Wurth was such a great book. Full of paranormal elements and a good solid ghost story, White Horse has a great main character that is very easy to understand and read about. She’s not without her faults and vices, and has had her own share of tragedy but is a very likeable character. Her friendship with her cousin is so true to life and the author has a way of depicting very real conversation and situations, on top of the ghosty side of the novel.
Kari, an indigenous woman of Apache and Chickasaw descent, is searching for answers to what happened to her mother, who seemingly disappeared when Kari was only two days old.
The story, writing and characters kept me hooked!
