I really loved this book. It was so good from start to finish.I had a great time reading this. This book, like the previous, is entirely character driven, there's not really a plot. I was literally grinning like a loser & kicking my feet. I definitely want to reread this book. It's a total comfort book. The characters are amazing & so rounded, I loved them.
Garrett is a pro hockey player that has secretly been lusting over his best friend's sister, Jennie. She moves into Garrett's building which brings them close together. I really loved seeing how they slowly built their friendship. The trust that they had with one another was everything. Garrett is such a simp for Jennie which I love!!! I loved how patient Garrett was with Jennie. She has trust issues due to past relationships. They truly cared about each other despite them having a "no strings attached" arrangement & denying they're anything more than friends. They're literally each other's number one fan & it was so sweet.
I loved how the tougher topics where handled & approached. We learned as the characters learned which kept me on the edge of my seat. It wasn't like we were screaming "JUST TELL THEM ALREADY" because we didn't know either. I loved seeing the characters from the first book. I'm very excited for the rest of the series. I will not know peace until I can read Adam's book.
