I read this book based on a high recommendation from my sister, Inara - which lead to it being chosen for our second offical book club pick.
Fantastic read, held my attention from the first page to the last....but there was something about Amir that was so unlikeable I found it hard to sympathise with him at all. The writing at times seemed somewhat simple and predictable, yet I still found myself getting swept away in the world and the customs and the heartache.
