Whew, this is a very dark book. Torture, mutilation, child prostitution, and rivers of blood. Laura does NOT have an easy or a comfortable past. A couple of these stories I loved. A couple were only okay. I didn't dislike any of them, which is nice. This is very intense, though. Not for the faint of heart!
