I actually finished this ages ago, but forgot to mark it as "read."
This was great. Just great. I don't even care if there's not any more American Vampire comics; it could end now and I would feel happy and quite, quite satisfied, except for wanting more about Pearl. The art is great, the writing's just wonderful pulp goodness -- thumbs WAY up!
