Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson

5.0

This novel was so incredibly heartwarming and wholesome. Loved every single page.

The story follows Lillian - an unsuccessful, unmotivated individual - that was kicked out of a high-end private high school after taking the heat for something she didn't do. Fast-forward a handful of years, her best friend asks her to do her a favor and watch two very... Troubled... Twins. As Lillian learns to take care of two lives outside of her own, a bond grows between the three of them. Lillian is forced to face a lot of aspects of her life she hadn't been ready to face, and the introduction of these two children were the catalysts. Truly a hilarious, beautiful story about love, acceptance, self-exploration, and the reality that sometimes your family is made up of the individuals you choose and whom choose you back.

I loved the characters, the plot, the humor, Lillian's personality and commentary.... Everything about this book was great.
