did i understand the lore? no. but did i have the time of my life reading the lore? yes.
as someone who doesn't like books that are more plotty with extensive lore this book was actually a fun ride. i love learning abt the mythology and all the characters from the past. AND THE ROMANCE. god I was ready to punch shen wei like 5 times in the book like bro????? but honestly they're so adorable<33333 zyl is still mr sexy to me
