The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion: Vol. 4 by Beth Brower

5.0

I'm torn between wishing this had audio ... as I have so much more ear time than eye time (while the story is short, it takes me a while to get through it reading it myself). I can "hear" it in my head. Yet, with audio, I wouldn't be able to stop and highlight sections and statements that are worth remembering.

Installment four - September and October journal entries. I personally write in a journal daily, but my writing, and my life, are not nearly so witty as one Emma M Lion. I really want to say "I digress" at some point in my life. Emma does not like the word behooveth, but practically swoons over "thrice".

Spoilers below ... recorded more for MY reference than anything else:
The most memorable moments are dancing at the Drunken Duck (one Jack favor down), meeting Mrs. Penury, the set up of the foursome (at the book club discussion for the series, the host had on a t-shirt with "Islington, Pierce, Hawkes and Lion" on it), and then more on Maxwell, as a belated burial takes place.

I am still enjoying this series. Book 7 was just released. All are included in Kindle Unlimited ...
