I will admit Prue is not one of my favorite Quick heroines - she got a little too annoying at times and also was a bit too naive for her own good (something she and most of the other characters in the book comment on a lot which also may be why it got old by the end) but I do love a Quick plot line so that saved this one in the end for me. I know this is one of her earlier novels so she wasn't quite set on her usual cast of characters yet (I kept waiting for the female villain to somehow appear but apparently that was a trademark she settled on later) but still a fun read with lots of good banter to enjoy.
