I read this in one sitting. It was very entertaining and the sex scenes -- the many, many sex scenes -- really did it for me. But I was very annoyed with all the "as you know, Bob" dialogue in the beginning of the story. A lot of telling instead of showing ("oh I'm so tired"). A lot of mythos sounded interesting but it was not explained in a satisfying way.

I loved the dynamics of the cats, the behaviours, the show of submission... I'm on to book two, this is where I'll truly see if these characters can hold my interest.
